Looking for Hair Salon?

Hi all,

I'm gonna share with you some of the places that I go for a hair cut. Some people just have no idea where to go and afraid to try it out. But it is crucial to choose the right hair stylist that fit your needs. If not, it will ruin our mood for a bad hair cut. Here we go!!!

*********** Miko Hair Studio & Academy ***********

Miko Hair Studio & Academy is my first visit when I was 18 years old. If you want to get budget hair cuts, this is definitely a great place for you. The price is very reasonable, under RM50 for a hair cut and wash. The price is vary in different outlet. Debbie Eng is my professional stylist for so many years. Since she had been transfered to another outlet at KL, its kinda troublesome for me to travel there. Anyway, she is one of my favorite professional stylist.

************ Kimarie Salons & Academy ************

Kimarie Salons & Academy is another hair salons that offer a great deal. The price is under RM50 per a hair cut and wash. I had tried a hair cut and wash at Kimarie SS2, PJ. Unfortunately, Aily Ooi is my hair dresser who had been left. But you still can looking for any hair dresser there. Basically, there are 3 ranks to pick from: junior cut, senior cut and professional.

****************** A Cut Above ******************

Last month, I went for a layered hair cut and wash at A Cut Above, Sunway Piramid. Thomas Lai is my senior stylist. He is quite a good-looking guy. Hehe. Hmm, the price is kinda expensive compare to Miko Hair Studio & Academy and Kimarie Salons & Academy. I spent around RM90 for hair cut and wash. In addition to that, I bought a Loreal product, which is special shampoo for my oily roots. Recently, my hair roots are getting oily and I don't know what cause the problem. Early treatment is a must. This shampoo is quite costly for me which is RM75.

Have you heard of X-Cut? X-Cut which stands for "Express Cut". If you prefer fast, easy and hassle-free hair cut, you should try this out. Its only RM16, cut and style in 15 minutes.

***************** La' Mode Coiffure *****************

I cannot remember much about La' Mode Coiffure. Sorry guys and gals. Its located at Mid Valley Megamall. But you can look for Justin Lee, handsome guy too.

****************** Peek-a-boo ******************

Now I present to you, Peek-a-boo, the most expensive hair salon that I ever spent in my whole life, RM500++. I did some hair treatment, which I didn't notice the price list. I choose Joe Low, who is the director of the hair salon at Peek-a-boo TTDI. The whole process took me 4 to 5 hours. As a result, my hair looks very soft, gentle and healthy.

Basically, I won't do any hair treatment in any hair salon. A bottle of hair conditioner is good enough for me.

A lot of local artists and models prefer to come here. One of my favorite TV host, Belinda Chee did some highlight on her hair before her wedding day. Her hair is very outstanding during her big day.

Peek-a-boo online booking is available for you to book an appointment online. It can help you save up to 49% of its normal charge. The price list is available here.

***************** Jantzen Salon *****************

This hair salon don't have a web site. Another hair salon which is recommended by my friend, Jantzen Salon. If you are interested, you can search the location: Lot S-027/028, 2nd Floor of Mid Valley Megamall. Ling is my hair dresser, RM55 for hair cut and wash.

***************** Michael & Guys *****************

I forgot how much I spent on this, so sorry. Its quite okey and located at One-U. Mann is my hair stylist but I'm not sure he still working over there or not.

Finally, I hope my information is beneficial for you. This is my personal opinions only. You are the consumer. You can try anything that you want to. Have a nice day.

XOXO,
Jane Chia
